It is a patented combination of high-tech fibres developed by Gore: ARAMID and POLYAMIDE, which are used as the shell of a GoreTex 3-layer laminate. What's new is the "core-sheath structure": a "fibre sheath" made of hard-wearing, UV-stable polyamide encloses the "fibre core" of highly tear- and /heat-resistant aramid.
This means:
GREATER SAFETY! The "lattice structure", which is also new, is designed to absorb the multidirectional forces acting on the fibres in the event of a fall and to significantly reduce the effects of the simultaneously occurring abrasive forces .
GREATER COMFORT! Improved breathability because the 3-layer structure reduces the layers of air remaining in the fabric. The shell absorbs less water because it is firmly attached to the GoreTex membrane in a 3-layer structure.
